Patient Safety is Being Examined

Members of the European parliament (MEPs) have been looking to patient safety in recent discussions, it has been revealed.
The European Society of Cardiology explains that the levels of care offered to individuals in different regions of the continent has been discussed in parliament.
Anyone keen to learn about the quality of health advice offered to them might be intrigued to hear of the news.
But Dr Peter Mills, co-chair of the European board for the specialty of cardiology, argues that legislation is unlikely to play a primary role in determining how well patients are cared for.
He notes that patient safety can be impacted upon by politicians through establishing new legislation.
But he argues that a systematic application of education is needed foremost in order to raise skills levels among caregivers.
According to the European Society of Cardiology, it exists through a desire to “reduce the burden” of cardiovascular illness throughout Europe.
Families with a history of heart disease may welcome any health advice that the organisation and its counterparts are able to offer in order to ease the pressure of living with the threat of illness.
